[Floating is an Escape to Gravity]

Installation.
Metal, light, fan, movement sensor, water, and audio system.
Variable dimensions.

From a need to float, this work is about trusting in dark water whose bottoms we do not see. It's a memory of being floating in a maternal liquid. Influenced by air conditions, water movements, non-places, and waves: a fan works erratically, moving the shinnies of this surface. Once the audience moves, the fan rotates, the water surface shines, the speaker plays, and a volume of air vibrates. Light comes as the beginning of a presence above my eyes' point of view. A table is floating, meeting electricity with reality.
